How It Works

Behind the AI Beach Planner™

The planner brings together your answers, BeachEverywhere’s curated data, and AI to suggest beaches that feel made for your trip.

1
You answer a few simple questions
Tell the planner when you’re traveling, where you’re coming from, whether you prefer calm or wavy water, your budget level, and who you’re traveling with.
2
The system scans curated beach data
BeachEverywhere’s listings include seasonality, water conditions, amenities, parking, safety notes, nearby activities, and more — giving the AI real context to work with.
3
You get a shortlist that feels “just right”
The planner returns a small set of beaches, explains why each one matches you, and highlights things to do, places to stay, and what to expect when you arrive.

A Glimpse of What You’ll See

Here’s an example of how the AI Beach Planner™ might respond to a real traveler’s request.

Example request
“I’m planning a 4–5 day trip in January. I’d like warm water, calmer waves, and a place that’s good for kids, with some easy things to do nearby. Moderate budget.”
Sample response

Based on your January dates, preference for warm, gentle water, and a family-friendly experience, here are three beaches that fit you well:

  • Sombrero Beach (Marathon, Florida Keys) — Shallow, calm water and a relaxed atmosphere make this ideal for kids. There’s convenient parking, restrooms, and nearby family-friendly stays.
  • Fort Zachary Taylor Beach (Key West, Florida) — Warmer winter water and excellent snorkeling close to shore. Historic surroundings and walkable restaurants keep the trip easy and fun.
  • Trunk Bay (St. John, U.S. Virgin Islands) — A destination-level beach with clear, calm water. Great for families who want a bit of adventure without heavy waves.

For each beach, the full planner will also show suggested activities, where to stay, and simple tips for getting around.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

A quick look at what to expect as the AI Beach Planner™ moves from idea to live experience on BeachEverywhere.

When will the AI Beach Planner™ be available?
A public launch is planned for 2026, with a private beta earlier that year. Joining the early access list is the best way to know when it goes live.
Will there be a cost to use it?
The core version of the planner is expected to be free to use. In the future, some advanced planning features may be offered as optional upgrades.
How is this different from a normal beach search?
Instead of browsing long lists, you describe your ideal trip. The planner then looks at season, water, safety, budget, and activities to suggest beaches that closely match those details.
Will it cover only U.S. beaches?
The first release focuses on the United States. A Caribbean expansion is planned as a next step, with additional regions considered after that.
Do I need an account to use the planner?
For launch, you won’t need an account to get recommendations. Later, signed-in users may be able to save trips, favorite beaches, and sync plans across devices.
